Alex Willow is a painter, sculptor, and mixed media artist who lives and works in Berkeley, California. Willow holds a BFA from UC Berkeley (2023). Known for their varying portraits of home, working across all mediums, Alex Willow’s artwork reflects a fascination with the human experience. They have exhibited across California and were featured in a gallery in South Korea in the Summer of 2024. Their paintings invoke complex and surreal narratives, playing with perspective, orientation, and memory. Her sculptures involve repurposing of found materials and biological elements allowing emphasis on joinery, materiality, and the usage of our most valuable resource: time.
