Abel Quiñones Jr. is a Mexican-American painter who currently resides in Philadelphia. Originally from Florida, their work is composed of figurative/traditional oil painting with themes that concern their Mexican heritage and the culture that comes with it. Other themes they explore within their works are sexual identity, toxic masculinity within the Latinx community, and exploring how trauma shapes people.
